INSTEAD OF SHARING ANOTHER SELFIE, I SHARED ALL MY BOOKS WITH THE WORLD.

Piles of books were left in high-traffic locations around NYC which were all taken and have now travelled to more than 30 countries as part of The Reading Project.

Part-commentary on the way we live today and part-experiment, the project saw stacks of books accompanied only by a simple note that encouraged passers-by to take a book for free, read it and on completing the book, email me.

The books were left in popular locations including the Times Square Subway Station, Central Park, The High Line, Brooklyn Bridge and even in the elevators of business towers, were all taken – and provoked an impressive response.

The titles in the book stacks piqued the interests ranging from light-hearted to serious, and include: ‘The Decision Book’, ‘The Buddha Walks Into A Bar’, ‘The War of Art’, ‘The Alchemist’, ‘The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich’ and ‘Shit Happens So Get Over It’.
